Technically it'd be the "Oakland Coliseum," although I've never actually heard anyone else refer to it as that as I don't know too many folks who enjoy sports in Oakland, or I'd just call it "the Oakland B

I like “the ballpark” best, that name is timeless so won’t matter which company buys up naming rights next.

Seriously how is this tool even getting upvoted? Why use this compared to straight up curl or scp to your own instance? This makes 0 sense, I need an aspirin.

That’s fine if you hire employees to work remote outside of SF only, but if you try to pay less in the Bay Area an employer is only going to get either poor quality employees or those who will switch companies immediately when a better offe

Unless, of course, you can keep your current pay by working remote for a Bay Area company and move to Cheapsville, McFlyoverState for a few years and save enough to do whatever you want.

We can agree to disagree on that. The certs are useful if your business requires them for whatever reason but my standard take is any cert that doesn’t require hands on learning, such as RHCSA/RHCE/CKA/CCIE, tend to be a poin

As a Linux Admin/consultant I’ve been impressed with some of the directions they’ve been headed in recently. If they don’t butcher github in the next few years I may consider hating on them slightly less.
