I always thought the liquid sloshing would be one of the hardest to simulate (considering how chaotic fluid mechanics is). Interestingly, I think this caused the 2nd Falcon launch to fail (the LOX sloshing).

That was crazy, 50% of me thought as it was coming in, especially as it pitched towards the tower, "they've overcompensated and are going to bring the whole tower down" but they absolutely nailed it.

I thought I was the only one who noticed, I'd much prefer the YC companies do a monthly "here's who's hiring" much like the "who's hiring" instead of individual ones.

If you're not advertising how are people going to know that you have something that would be useful to them in exchange for money? I don't see it as a virus, the real virus is poor products where the balance of marketing outweighs

There's really something quite magical when you're having a debate with someone with vastly different views but they're reasonable and you both find common ground. Probably a good indication of partner compatibility - I don&#

I think it's fundamentally important to care deeply about some things e.g. your craft. As you tend to find joy when you're deep in flow state.I'd also add: * Don't argue with people on the internet You'd be inherent

Best in what sense? Intelligence, speed, cost? Sometimes having a fast enough model at a low enough price makes you the obvious choice e.g. I know Claude is better than gpt-4o-mini but I use the latter for a lot more data processing because

Really it's just validator code instead of feature code. I think this is the only realistic way forward for production level code written by AI, don't ask it to write code - ask it to pass your validation tests. Essentially, every

Is it criticism if a claim is true? There is so much legal jargon I'm willing to bet most people won't want the headache (and those that don't care about equity are likely already fairly wealthy)

I really wonder how true/untrue this is? For example, if you've founded and exited a company before I'm guessing you're more likely to do it again (this is gut feeling - I don't have data so happy for someone to dis

I find this far more useful than a suite of tools or "AI agents" which always work well in a controlled development environment but not so much further than that. Function calling is a great step towards actually production-izing

If you could collate all these arguments and actually help you get better at debating then this could be turned into a positive where you shouldn't care about the person (AI or human) behind the argument but the argument itself.

I actually think this could be an incorrect assumption we're making that humans want authentic human connections on social media. Most humans on social media are not their authentic selves and want to project an image of who they think

That makes them sound a bit more predatory than the reality of it but I get what you mean. When you're younger, by definition, you've got more shots on goal, you don't have other responsibilities (mortgage, kids, partners etc
