We will work jobs where being human is an innate part of the value proposition eg. servants, wait staff, sex workers. There are also jobs you wouldn't historically thought of where being human is an innate part of the value proposition

That someone gives you the right to use their code doesn't mean they're required to be a free hosting provider for you.

If they had an informal development in exchange for server access type relationship then that would qualify as some sort of obligation. Doesn't really have anything to do with open source though. Haven't seen anything about matt&#

My take on their comment was that it should be worth many billions if it was being run effectively but that it's not. That doesn't mean the market is wrong, it means the market thinks it will continue to be run ineffectively.

My understanding of their comment is that the source is made available immediately. It’s just that you need to pay for a license to use it for the first couple years.

As long as it’s an ongoing relationship nothing needs to be said. Apple knows that if more users swap away from the default then the default setting is less valuable.

Sure. That's also the assumption when you upload your private information to someone else's computer. Except for the "unless explicitly promised otherwise" part.

This would make sense as the answer if there were sky high prices for time sensitive things but much lower for things that don't need to be done right now. My impression of US health care is everything involving a hospital being expens
