   Apparently from the satellite images the ML can identify more of them than a human eye can see while flying. For example you can't see the roots whereas ML can from the image identify that. That's how I understood why they used ML

   A ML-trained module shows that there are trees in Sahara after all. This couldn't have been achieved without AI technology. It estimated ~2 billion of trees and shrubs. Absurdly impressive! This is a valuable information to deal with
