If you'd like to buy this data, go talk to the guys over at Inrx. They will happily give you a product demo showing point to point trips recorded by connected onstar or whatever corresponding manf connected car service.

I’ve been doing this on a large system I’m building. Anything that takes longer than an hour to run, processes a high rate of events (maybe >5/s averaged over a day) or has downstream gpu waiting for it. Python + tests cross compile

I bought one of their first garbage laptops. The ones that flatten the battery overnight. Now 5 years later I'm being told I've had my data breached for a dashboard. I don't even have the laptop anymore, I gave it away. I sti

I wish we had a word for this, where everyone’s getting rich, there’s a run on stocks, but prices of assets are all going up. Some people are missing out completely whereas a select few hoard wealth in other forms. And of course the governm

No, they settled that yesterday, so all is forgotten. Press releases were queued for today so just in the nick of time.

High tps is good for deeper agent thinking loops and openclaw etc. I was running cerebus recently doing some data heavy tasks, it managed to crash the server I was submitting posts to. 6 hour task down to ~1hr

256gbs memory bandwidth is about 1/4 that of a 3090. It would be a better buy with half the memory at 4x the speed.

Good to know. Might be worth updating the motherboard then, it’s limited in pcie speed.

I was doing some benchmarking last night on 2 3090s. The systems but old but I’m seeing 11tks 27b, 15tks 35b MoE. The limited context is problematic. I’m not exactly sure what it’s got available but hermes was hit and miss on a prospecting

Or more likely, that’s exactly how you make incredibly safe systems. Not by introducing clean sheet unproven designs but by taking what works and improving any deficiencies over and over again.

It’s an expectation as a New Zealander that you hold this against the aussies. Honestly it should be on the citizenship test. If you answer favourably towards throwing underarm, your test is rescheduled the following week in Canberra.

Age verification for social media. Approval lists for AI models. Two sides of the same coin. The administration is taking the opportunity now on the back of fear mongering done by the labs. The labs get regulatory lock-in, the govt gets sur

I signed up to a z.ai max account, $144. Hardly been able to use it as it 429s on most requests. They’re also refusing to refund me.

The glasses are a great way to make content, for better or worse. I’ve only really seen the worse side of it on my feed. However, this is temporary. When people have seen enough fpv content it will stop getting engagement and the glasses wi

I think you’re being very uncharitable and lacking in empathy. Senior management have much bigger issues to deal with that can sink a whole business. It’s so demanding it’s made into a full time role. I would rather work for someone who has

There’s no roosting. It’s frog boiling. Every day your money loses value. That’s why stocks go up, spending goes up and the asset class gets richer. When you peg these to an arbitrary “value” you can see, companies aren’t getting trillions

Improved quality used to be the justification for buying new hardware at a similar price to the old hardware when it came out new. Now the 5060/70s are 4 figure cards. As for how much the prices have actually risen, it’s not hard to se

When you consider how much an employee costs, AI makes a ton of sense. Lots of businesses are stacked with staff doing basic data entry / shuffling. Even if it’s 1000usd a month, AI is still a bargain.

This is 100% going to kill the home built pc market. When I started building gaming pcs, the top top card was 750$ (NZD). Now they’re 10,000 just for the gpu and another 1-2000 for ram. People used to get into gaming pcs as an affordable ho

There isn’t a single FAA or EASA airline in the top 5. Maybe they’re just unlucky? And emirates, which has been going since 1985, one of the busiest airlines in the world, still waiting for it to all go wrong. Delusional to try and spin thi
