I'm not saying that it is not possible I'm saying that it's not happening to the extend that would make that argument true. If 10% of the golang projects were based on stdlib, then I'd buy that argument, but I expect t

I don't see any useful info there, do you mind translating that for me as it would be interesting to know what % of golang projects uses only the stdlib.

The “powerful standard library” to my experience is a myth that holds no water. Even trivial projects use external packages to handle trivial things like an HTTP server or logging. No project I saw, however small, uses just the standard lib

Yes. Many open source application fairly complex & large are written in Golang: kubernetes, terraform, istio, etc. All these run in countless production systems.

The weak link is DNS and routing (e.g. a BGP issue from a third party you don’t control) in this scenario. Using two or three CDNs, you should be good handle hosting easily for static assets. A BGP issue might bring down the website for a c

There are many lectures on the topic by Pinker. I would start there. You can find quite a few on YouTube. He also has a book, but haven’t read it yet, I bet is good though. It’s a modern version of “Elements Of style” which is the classic

Same thing happened in a Greek “hot spot”, a prison for refugees. These places were build to host X number of inmates but in reality they host close to 50X. The population were infected at nearly 100% without symptoms.

The mental overhead and complexity is simply not worth the investment. Geeks are already killing themselves for fun and profit with similar tools, geeks understand the underlying logic, know where to find info, etc. Non-geeks can't fat

You can automate this, even if you have MFAs enabled. I do that through 1Password CLI (for the MFA token) and a script to interact with the idp. We use temp credentials, so after X hours you to generate a new session. I'm just typing t

You could try k3s in the mini. k3s uses a less resource hungry setup, parity is not there yes as many resource definitions won't work out of the box.
