Pi is notoriously light. You can use extensions but these perform changes in your end of the spectrum… so why would they care? I don’t see this affects Anthropic.

An LLM can read the diff and do the summary on the fly. What it cannot do, is explain the reason behind a change. That was always that valuable part of the commit msg. The rest can deducted, ofc it's much easier to read a short list or

I don't think it will compete with ZFS or BTRFS (e.g. I don't think ppl will use GEFS over ZFS or BTRFS for a storage server), but it's a modern, much needed FFS replacement.

I don’t think so. But proper firewall setup, DMZs and guest networks, patched devices (so open source devices…) go a long way…

They do have fallback, they keep backups in the US. So if you want backup / data EU sovereignty it’s not really going to cut it. I don’t remember them having an outage the last many years… nothing that affected me at least.

You could pass it all to hister (searchable) and then just export to any format or keep the mbox format and simply lzma & encrypt the archive file.
