These are common requirements for a corporate phone. Remote wipe is provided by both Android and iPhone iirc even to end users. A stock android phone, a knowledgeable user could already remove a bunch of stock apps.

I was an employee in Windows on the date of that email. I left a few months later. Note that the email itself doesn't say "windev". It says "Windows" a bunch of times. If I'm stretching this "windev"

As a former MS employee some time ago I don't think I ever heard "windev". It was always referred to as "Windows". Though there were a lot of different groups within that, so sometimes you'd hear an initialism

I think people tend to think too much in terms of black and white. Jaded cynicism is sometimes a good response, and sometimes less so, and other times won't make too much of a difference or can go either way. The trick is to know how t

And yet when we have "bike lanes" like this, people complain that it's too much, too intrusive, ruins local business, or should be a parking spot or lane for deliveries.

You assume too much. I'm talking about languages I'm fluent in, can read and write, etc. You'd have to be insane to think that, for example, IPA for Spanish isn't easier than IPA for English vowels. In contrast to Englis

I've always found IPA to be deeply confusing for English, because different accents have different historical vowel mergers, so I am never sure about vowels. And I think linguists aren't always sure about them either. IIRC, I saw

The idea that "shore" and "sure" are pronounced "almost identically" would depend pretty heavily on your accent. The vowel is pretty different to me. Also, the matches for "sorI" and "sorY"

Unrelated to WinCE, WinPE is the version of the NT kernel that the Windows setup DVD or netboot installer uses, since Vista and higher. You could probably build a really nice UI atop of it if one were so inclined. To prevent people from doi

Old phones no, but old apps yes. If a developer has abandoned an app and hasn't been investing in the update treadmill, but end users still care about it, that can make people feel negatively about Apple.

My opener broke a few months ago, maybe 10+ year old model that I previously had on zwave via GoControl. I just got a cheap homedepot Chamberlain to replace it and got ratgdo. Works much better than my old zwave solution.
