It's all because of ads. Everything is done in the name of getting more advertisers, and more ad-clicks. So everything must be sanitised, and strictly regulated lest you upset the advertisers

That's not what I mean. I mean Russians are murdering Ukranians right now. So the least Russians opposed to it could do is protest even under threat of arrest. Protests already are happening in Russian cities so it is possible.

For even less, for just being Ukranian.

Ukranians literally have guns to their heads. But lets not ban Russians from using a website because it might hurt their feelings.

Any chance you're familiar with Naver in South Korea? Naver has communities which are created by users and are called Cafes. The Cafes are essentially message boards https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naver#Naver_Cafe

As far as I've read, they undertest a lot in Japan. It also probably helps that like other asian countries they wear masks all the time, everywhere and without complaint. Japan also currently doesn't let anyone in to the country.

That's what code standards are for, so you're all writing code that everyone can understand. Seems like a failure of the tech managers

I work as a non-native speaker in Korea. Speaking and listening is just insanely harder than reading and writing. I can be productive as long as I'm exchanging messages on Github/Messenger, but meetings are horrendous.

As you're on a bike, it would be a lot better to get a power meter, take an FTP test and then ride 20% above your FTP to properly ride in an anaerobic zone. You'll quickly find that long anaerobic exercise isn't possible Hear

The issues in this blog post seem like non-issues. You probably shouldn't be sending back >8kb error messages to the client. The server should log error details locally and the logs should be inspected or scraped separately. The cli

Well for starters, looking at the charts in the link 30 hours is still much more productive than the 40hr 1975 worker. As a programmer I'm not doing focused programming for any more than 30 hours a week anyway

Something like 30 hours a week, 4 days a week cant come soon enough. Right now I work 40-45, 5 days a week and it feels like all I do is work and chores.
