I'd like to see more evaluation data. There are 100s of RAG strategies, most of them only work on specific types of queries.

This seems like a spec. Did you mean to say that there are similar products/services that already implement this?

This actually sounds like an amazingly simple (at least in principle), and probably effective solution to a problem that does exist that I didn't realize needed to be solved.

Why would anyone use java over kotlin for new projects? At least for server side development, kotlin has proved to be far superior to us.

Love this. It would really benefit from a back/forward button though!

IMO depending on what question you're looking to answer using this page, typically some variant of "how expensive is my country relative to others", it would probably be useful to check out the purchasing power adjusted index

I can totally see what you're solving for - the friction of switching between an anki deck and leetcode to achieve the same thing with existing tools. If you want one data point about how I prepare for coding interviews - I just solve

Just fyi for the dev - on mobile, the slide in menu that opens on clicking the burger icon on the top right is empty. Cool idea btw. What do you think about incorporating the "patterns" associated with problems into the repetition

I think AGI is less a "generation" problem and more a "context retrieval" problem. I am an outsider looking in to the field, though, so I might be completely wrong.

I agree that it is the best AI podcast. I do have a few gripes though, which might just be from personal preference. A lot of the time the language used by both the host and the guests is unnecessarily obtuse. Also the host is biased toward

I hope I am wrong. All I've seen in the past year are incrementally better models even from the top labs. Open source models are barely usable.

I've had a feeling for a while that they've hit a plateau in terms of how much "intelligence" they can squeeze from all the text in the world. Many openai and other researchers have publicly claimed that they need better

Fair point. I'll add a prompt. I was also planning to give users the ability to choose how the variables are set in general. Cleaning up after uninstall is also a good idea. Thanks for the feedback!

That is one solution yes, if you already have a password manager which gives APIs to work with it's secrets. Or a separate product like Doppler which is specialized for this use case. My idea was to avoid a central store, and honestly

Requires you to trust Doppler's servers to be secure enough. But I guess that is a given with Doppler overall. Definitely useful though!

Oh we share secrets using a password manager. But it's a long laundry list of secrets that you have to manually load into your system somehow. There's also an env file there somewhere but it's not up to date. Eliminating the

If yours is a massive company with resources to run separate centralised infrastructure for secrets management, sure. There are other nicer tools too - Doppler comes to mind. I just wanted to build the simplest possible thing that would ach

That works too. There are just a lot of tiny cognitive humps to get over when you try to manage env variables manually. 1. Find the text file in the password manager 2. Most people will not be fully conscious of which shell they're usi
