Might be worth staying that this is an AD you’ve built the store to advertise Hubba wholesale service which you’re working for as “growth”. You didn’t start a store to start a store. You started it to market Hubba.

Wouldn’t a PHP app with app servers in locations in many POI then connected to azure cosmosdb essentially feel like and act like”the edge” to a user. Nuxtjs and nextjs are “the edge” apps. But the server being centrally located especially f

I don’t do any scientific or numerical programming. So as someone interested in web development. Backend programming. Serverless. High performing code without being any more strenuous than Ruby or Python. Is Julia a good fit? I tried Crysta

Exactly. Reverse engineering to better understand how to design and manufacture a competing product with very different mechanics is ok. But there are cars in china that are one for one copies of major brands. They’re everywhere.

What about theft of revenue, profits, money spent on new R&D because there is a company or government willing to copy your idea and subsidize its development heavily as to maximise their economic growth. It’s theft. Handbags to manufact

There is a whole society ingrained in “copying”. Mainland Chinese don’t see IP theft as theft. They see it as simply “copying”. It’s ok to copy. But not to steal right? So just preach that it’s ok by changing the view. Then allow copying to

I believe Truffle was 3-4x+ faster than Jruby. This is what Ruby needs. But Oracle will ruin it.

I researched this yesterday against Crystal. Seems people won’t touch it because of oracle. Which is a real shame. Truffle is a 9x improvement in speed over Ruby. But because Oracle is a patent nightmare and a dying organization. People are

Telstra isn’t surviving. It’s being attacked on every front and it’s product is junk. Share price is down considerably and their dominant position pricing on both mobile and landline is nearing an end.

I think a lot of CDN’s have cloud storage at the CDN site. https://bunnycdn.com/features has multireplication storage coming soon. You could push to their CDN storage sites and then have that served to users. There are lots

Fastly 1PB: $96,000 OVH 1PB: $6500 Google Cloud: $36,000 CDN pricing is insane.

Stripe has always been one of those products so well presented and with guidelines so simple. But this presentation today is a total failure. Makes the billing complicated and everyone doesn’t understand what the service does with detail. Y

Great reply. The pro version looks great for serious startups or agencies. Our personal experience with manypixels ended in a refund. So I just wanted to get your take on the cheaper end.

How do you feel about the budget players in your space, which have practically grown to apparently $50,000 monthly revenue, but have missed client files, gotten plenty of negative reviews on producthunt and churned out designs nothing like

Oh, well that puts a kink in that. They had an example of 1PB costing $90,000 to download from S3. On their old plan it would be $40,000 (quick math). I think if the company was that large S3, comes across as a much better offering.

Pricing has recently changed to remove egress costs completely. The speeds were ok. Nothing special. But this is most likely better used for long term data storage? With a CDN it would suit well as a large media store for video/image d

Wasabi storage has unlimited egress now. So spaces with its rate limiting doesn’t seem that much of a big deal. Storage is something that won’t make much money in a few years I believe. I think the Egress overcharging maybe finally seeing d
