you don't have to drive at 100% to appreciate the driving dynamics. Light and nimble cars feel amazing even at speed limit, e.g 80 km/h on twisty country roads.

they matter even more now. acceleration was the easiest way to make a sports car. now that it's so freely available, they have to put even more effort in the handling department. as another commenter stated, it's all about driving

I remember in late 10s I could just connect my iPhone to a windows machine and the photos folder would be right there, mounted, with the typical iOS filenames for each picture. Is this a false memory? Maybe I was on a Mac and just forgot?

I think OP is from USA and there IT = sysadmin, while programming is Software Development / Engineering (to my crude understanding from browsing the interwebs). So what OP is asking if it's worth getting into IT to work on servers

Thanks for reminding me about RealPlayer. I remember playing flash games on it I had on a USB drive. Felt like a hacker when I downloaded them from a website and played them locally instead of having to be connected to the internet to play
