Absolutely! For folks who are technical enough to care about ssh'ing from their iPhones, a jailbreak is such a no-brainer. There's so little cost involved in it now with QuickPwn and stuff..

That makes me really really sad :( Pandora is one of the rare services which just scream quality. The service itself is great, the web interface is slick, the ads are slick, the iPhone app is amazing.

Heh, that's very clever. Although one wonders if the trolls feel like they have been vindicated in some way (by being able to draw attention!)

The guy has released the source code openly under GPL on code.google.com. That might be what made Apple angry since that is (apparently) a violation of the NDA.

We have used PHP extensively, and have been bitten by the confusing semantics of "==" more than once. By now, we have diffused these problems, but they did trump us quite a bit.

You can also change the world in a big way that doesn't generate much money at all: YouTube. This was also true for Google for about 2-3 years after they started - perhaps more. I think we should judge Youtube after a few more years. Ever

If I understand it correctly [1] even with this app, you do have to do all the setup: set up the ad-hoc network, get your iphone to connect to the ad-hoc network, set your browsers SOCKS proxy, etc. The only difference is that this app cre

Well, I can't deny all of this because it's true. However, it is not very useful ultimately since everything is relative. Everybody on the App Store gets these advantages. Yes, there is a central location to look for but when you have tho

A website would require marketing, but an iPhone App does its own marketing, through its name This is a myth. And people will realize in a couple months once there are tons of apps in the App Store. You will need marketing wherever you go
