Programming, BASIC in particular, was pushed very hard in the 80s and 90s because it was viewed as the next common household skill. After numerous advances in UX, it sort of returned to its professional exclusivity.

I've known many people who have Jobsian tendencies. They don't have depression, just a low tolerance for bullshit.

This wasn't particularly true by 1990 but early in computing history, most engineers didn't have any computer in their house; being expensive and all. Maybe they thought of it from that angle. There'd still be a lot of older

Adobe formats are notorious for bloat and scope creep. Implementing a conformant PDF reader would require you to implement a full 3D engine.

Definitely had the same observation that Google prefers subterfuge through obscurity/difficulty as opposed to legal methods. Their open source projects are notoriously impossible to build.

Those working in the industry often know what's coming. What they often get wrong is how it's economically deployed, when it arrives, or what effects it will have.

I advise Google stop pissing off both conservatives and liberals, or antitrust action will rain down pretty easily.

It's probably more accurate to describe transitioning as redefining what it means to be a woman, not simply asking people to deny one's physiology or to "play along with a delusion". Before, it was simply being born a
