Can you not import them locally via the Disqus API, so that if at some point in the future you are not happy with Disqus, you can move to an alternative solution?

Have to admit, I smirked that SlashGeek is outsourcing its comments system to disqus. Edit: even better, the Disqus comments are now failing to load with the message "Sorry, we're undergoing temporary maintenance."

I'm personally counting that fact that HIB V manage to pull in more money ($5,108,725 http://support.humblebundle.com/customer/portal/articles/281... ) as a win for those of us upset that this offer moved away from Humble Bundle's DRM-free

I don't care about cross-platform, but I feel abandoning DRM-free is really moving away from the original concept.

This is why the fact that Alex Chadwick has written just enough of a USB driver for HIDs is such a useful contribution.

Yes, but all our kernel code was already open. Everything that runs on the ARM is now FOSS.

Alex Chadwick has done a fantastic job on this. He's just finished his first year of the undergraduate CS course, and has spent the summer interning for us at the computer lab working on this. It's fair to say that it's more a guide to bare

This has been handling my todo-list needs for well over a year now. I recently added support for categories, because the way I used the tool changed over time. I know there are loads of these sort of tools already, but of course sh-todo has

I love the site update. It's very classy there's not even a direct GitHub homepage link, let alone a logo. Is this considered the official Git website? If so, would it not make sense for the domain to be owned by e.g. the SFC on behalf of t

Yeah, the chances of a regression being fixed increase massively if you do a regression test to bisect the offending commit and file a bug on Bugzilla.

I personally think it's a bit off that a crowdfunded project like this is offering a DRMed deliverable to its customers. I expect the choice of Steam is more due to convenience than a consideration of its DRM scheme, but I'd be much more co

I have my own very simple entry in this space: https://github.com/asb/sh-todo It's a bit annoying that so few terminals implement the ANSI escape sequence for strikethrough (gnome-terminal does!) but I've been using it for almost a year n
