Rejection sampling is not necessarily a bad idea in general, but in this particular case it would be bad. You are going to choose 300 random numbers between -1 and 1, and then throw away this batch if their norm is greater than 1. As you in

Can anyone comment on specifically how Kivy is better than the other options available (e.g., QT?). How have other peoples' experiences been? Some comments say small community, but that seems like it could be a large drawback honestly.

I've never heard this argument, but it honestly sounds extreme. We are going to force people to leave because other countries need good citizens? And you think that is the US government's rationale? Do you have a source? I absolut

I've taken this course, and while the instructors clearly put a lot of effort into it, I found it missed the mark by quite a lot. The assignments use fancy algorithms, but often with little motivation; as such, I doubt I will remember

At most, I think you mean specifically this year, for android phones. The iPhone 6S had some cool (hardware) updates, and I'd venture a guess that the iPhone 7 will, too.

In the past, I had a phone with wireless charging, but mostly found it a pain. Putting it down slightly in the wrong position often caused the phone to not charge overnight, and the charging was just too damn slow in the morning when I real

I'm among those not in agreement with the rant. In the case of the battery swapping, there are plenty of obvious ways to get around the phone turning off while swapping batteries (i.e., capacitors or smaller batteries). Why does it see

Didn't Uber buy the Carnegie Mellon robotics division? Is it too much to think they might try for their own hardware platform? It might be, but why else do so?
