I had to implement a Java REPL like this one in school. My experience of using it is that tells me that without a undefined type keyword it becomes very boring to use. Each time you have to define a variable you have to write all type info:

I have a question that I haven't seen address in the article. Does the code always assume the "sphere" is Earth or can you provide geometric information for other geometries?

I've been trying to implement a open source version of the Wolfram language for FenixEdu but is extremely hard. For the most part is possible as long you don't use stuff that depends of proprietary data sets. Also, after 30 years

I've been thinking about this for a while. I've wrote some thoughts I had over the years about modernising Lisp. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=9078444

Because it would be very hard to find a collision of a file that behaves exactly like a ZipFile. To make a collision work, you would need to inject the payload into the program, and find a specific blob to put into the zip file, that once c

I dabbled with implementing Swift on JavaScript, but has proven a bit difficult. The grammar is very big and just implementing a parser is huge task on its own. I would like to see someone tackle this though.

I've never tried Canvas, but from what I could gather it seems it is just a LMS. FenixEdu is a combination between a Academic Management System and a LMS. It has course pages, but also manages the diploma emission, teacher credits, roo
