You still interact with the delivery persons of Amazon / Getir / Uber Eats. It will likely not be a very meaningful interaction as they will want to quickly move on to the next job. And thanks to globalization the delivery person

From holding both I prefer the iPhone 17 over the Air when it comes to dimensions. Weight is roughly the same. And the 17 has so much more features. Plus the 17 is only slight more expensive. And it has the better aluminum housing.

I’d buy it if it had a SIM-card slot and video-out. Shame those had to be sacrificed for thin-ness. I travel plenty and those features are really nice to have. The regular 17 is better suited for me now.

Impressive. Where I live you get a flat assigned and you put your old furniture in. Maybe you paint the walls, but they have to be white when you move out. If you are doing well for yourself you buy a house from a project. It will be 150 id

I really hope that one day I am so incredibly rich that I can hire a team like yours. It would be amazing to have a professional firm design a house for you. I’m guessing you have to be in the 1% for that.

In the example I gave Google will tell you to walk over N340 / Via Augusta. Highly dangerous. Walking Madrid to Milan Google suggests to walk here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/STmiz37BiKtxe6HX7 (41.9218388, 1.2047772)

This is a Street View link to Via Augusta, one of the oldest roads between Spain and Italy (8 to 2 BC). It’s not walkable anymore. There isn’t an alternative footpath. You might hike on the beach and climb the rocks in between but that is s

I wanted to walk from one town to another. 15 kilometers. It was on a road where cars would go past literally 15 centimeters from you. No shoulder and because of the guardrails no ditch to walk in either. I didn’t do it, took the bus.

In the case of Spain, many long distance roads are no longer safe for pedestrians as there are cars on them now. Madrid to Milan would be a suicide missions in current day.

The price of repair is calculated into the asking price. If it is obvious that it only needs an HDMI port then the listing will cost what a regular PlayStation will cost minus HDMI repair and minus ~15% for risk. So about 70% of a regular P

Will probably not be long until a YouTuber tries to hide in their car while it gets picked up. Would make for a fun video. Tom Scott perhaps? Though he will likely get full access to the system.

Those UIs are made by embedded software engineers that have been in the automotive sector for 40 years. They have no clue how to make a modern functioning UI. The company then hires a UX expert that draws out a full plan. The software engin

Why not put a big fat Ryzen 9 chip in it? Most people use their computer for browsing the web, playing some games, doing some spreadsheets. A standard CPU would have been more than powerful enough for that and the Desktop would be more repa

My computer with socketed CPU had no issues being a computer. It’s so strange for Framework to make a machine you can’t repair. It’s the Framework Desktop. Why not create the best possible repairable Desktop instead of using some niche CPU

Then why not pick a CPU that is socketable? There are dozens of them on the market that Framework could have picked for their Desktop product.

If this CPU is not socketable by design, why not pick a CPU that is? There are plenty of options. Repairability is more important than raw speed. That is why people pick Framework. It’s not the best machine at everything but it’s easy to re

And the whole point of Framework is to have great repairability on their products, better than the competition even. Shipping products with soldered RAM and CPU goes against that ethos.
