I did do a show Hn earlier this week, but it seemed very inefficient to put people through a page that gets them to sign up to create their own documents, I just decided to annotate documents that interest me and post them here for other li

How do we get past the message that asks us to pay? I think that should be the default way of posting behind-paywall content to HN. Doesn't make sense to say "Hey, why don't you pay $12 to check out this post?"

How is it "well known that a significant percentage of people won't sign up with a social login" ?

I built the log-in before the FB/CA situation and am yet to understand how it may change things. However, I personally think people will move on from this like nothing ever happened (which is sad)

My mission is to breakdown barriers and level the playing field by allowing people to leverage the huge amount of knowledge we have available today to understand the world and subsequently tinker with abstraction. I want to help people make

I'm currently working on a project which has only social login (but allows you to choose between facebook and google) and this was a very deliberate move. For any given person on this planet, there is a higher chance that they use face

I don't know the first thing about music, but this was still fun to play around with. The front end is a work of art. Looks solid and robust. I tried it on my iPhone (in Safari) it made a sort of clicking sound with every "beat&qu

While what the comment states may be factually correct, it is unfair, in my opinion. Classic example of people sitting in their couches at home to point out everything Bill Gates did wrong in an attempt to judge him for the right he's

Okay, there are a lot of comments here about various things but what struck out to me was that on the website it says Woz U will help students "get into the workforce quicker" but their curriculum doesn't really cover any CS.
