Most of the issues people have with the LG are resolved by this new model; namely, build quality, speaker quality and webcam quality. For an extra $300 it seems like a no-brainer to pick this over the much-complained-about LG.

Having used displays from 30Hz to 300Hz, I believe 120Hz vs 60Hz is easily noticeable for anyone who is aware of the differences. Higher than that is a steep point of diminishing returns in my experience.

Your comment referred to Wordle's "acquisition" and "exit", which is startup jargon. I agree it's great he's getting a financial windfall, I just meant that the absence of that outcome — no acquisition

Your complaint is that Google is focused on such "useless things" as improving search results based on your prior searches and not on cutesy ads...?

Sure, but Wordle was not a startup. It wasn't seeking an "exit". It was a fun project made by a guy for his girlfriend who likes word games. He shared to their family, and it spread. Not everything needs to be or should be vi

I understand what you're trying to say, but I find it disturbing to suggest that "people don't actually live in downtown SF and SOMA". Many people, especially many lower income folks, do actually live there. The compartm

Yes, but afaik, the experience of building for the browser as a runtime target for games in Godot is still not much better than Unity, just less bloated. I for one would love it if Godot made web a first-class focus, but it doesn't see

Totally agree. Unity is definitely in the best position to become the new Flash, but so far, they seem completely uninterested in investing in that future. I can't totally blame them, because the vast majority of their revenue comes fr

It takes about 90 seconds to load for me, but once it does, it's buttery smooth on my M1 Pro. Unity's web story is still so bad for many reasons, but the initial load times are a huge one (~15MB of wasm for an empty scene last I c

That does nothing to verify authenticity within iMessage itself, creating the opportunity for abuse and impersonation I outlined in my other comment in this thread. A simple solution to this problem would be a "verified" indicator
