I imagine 5 is the upper bounds in their testing for users on the low/mid-level speed tiers from ISPs (ie. what most consumers buy) for "acceptable" video quality.

I'm more inclined to think lack of HW-decoding for VP8/9 + Google's "VideoandTalk" plugin on OSX is a piece of crap.

Stomach pH ranges between 1-5, what you eat contributes significantly to the variance in pH. The "active" yeast that's sold is actually the inactive spore (not actively budding) and low pH environments promote staying inactiv

Not necessarily, you'd be surprised just how hardy both the yeast granules (really sporulated yeast) and ADH can be. I've actually done some research in this area (for unrelated reasons) but here's the a "must read"

That's nice and all but the fact of the matter is Comcast doesn't give a crap about its own network or its customers. In the last 6-8months their PNW, SoCal, Colorado, and NY/NJ routing centers have sat, 24/7, at signifi

Oil changes take 20mins, I'm not sure how that equates to a whole Saturday. Hell, you could do it on your way home from work. Or if you find a nicer shop (ie. a local, nonchain shop), they'll even let you drop it off in the mornin

Apple has SecureTransport[1] and it is open source[2], it had the goto fail bug from earlier this year. Shoving money at the problem isn't necessarily the answer. The problem is the TLS spec is a confusing, arcane spec riddled with ton

tl;dr Follow TrueCrypts recommendations (FDE, long password) and you're mostly fine. The only things that can make it better require program changes.

They're in both browser's truststores. That's about as "trusted" a CA can be by an inanimate object. For a CA that issues hundreds of thousands of certs, three instances of mistakes is not damning. Whereas a CA, lik

A percentage is better than nothing, last time I was curious and looked it was 60-70% of your expected earning up to a max (120K/year IIRC) in my state. You can either take the `deal` so to speak or go to court for your compensation
