I think that's a rhetoric argument. You could argue that just about any story was deeply interesting or a sign of some bigger underlying trend. I think the rule of thumb should probably be 1-3 stories about none-hacker/startup related post

Is this article still relevant? It's from 2005, isn't it? I wouldn't know since I'm not a rails guy

The main argument of this article seems to be that it is not fun to spend time on what you should be doing... Actually, if you have two options, one is something you should be doing, the other something you shouldn't, both are fun. Personal

They're actually using dreamweaver. I didn't think anybody serious about HTML/CSS/Javascript used dreamweaver. I mean, it's a good product in it's own strength, but I wouldn't use it as a text editor.

That's a cool idea. The problem with it, though. Is that you'll have to change all your accounts and profiles to this e-mail, then the password reminders etc, come to this address. This address would then become, probably, the most importan

Looks nice, but goddamn... These things are always US-only...!! And I'm not talking about the language. If some startup would actually make anything , literally anything that was global, I'm sure it would get a segment of a market that n

It's not working for me at all. Am on google.co.in (India) and I also tried switching the domain in the javascript path.. didn't work. I think it's just working in the US... annoying when the posts always fail to tell you about that.

It's pretty good. Nice that it's PDF files (at least, the only search results I got for my query (memcached) was PDF files) 'Amazing' is a very strong word.

A better alternative might be just to list the name of the country the users's IP address is originating from, in no input field, just as text - with some button or method of changing it - that could bring up a nicely organized/filterable c

I can't believe people are still using these terms, like 'making 0 dollars off of pirate bay' -- That's like saying a free newspaper doesn't earn any money from giving the paper away. It's a argument people often make that are so entwined i

Another fine evidence of how bloated Oracle is. Sorry, that's just my opinion. Why would you want to be able to do something like this in your datastore? Maybe a database-admin really wants to be a programmer?

"I'm a nobody" in the end was really funny to me, because those other "somebodies" (farmville developers) were really also nobodies no 99.999999% of the people in the world. I bet even the people who play farmville don't give a damn either.
