I'm a bit skeptical on the source for those numbers. "according to a new set of data crunched by NetApplications" - At least he mentions the source, even though he doesn't link it. He also doesn't mention what those statistics are based on.

Thanks, I didn't know about that. Actually, I didn't really know it was in California either. I googled that "PT" thing in the title, that's how I made my estimate.

That's in 5.5 hours, right? So 6 hours from the time stamp of the post? I'm a bit confused, I am in GMT-0 here (Iceland). With Daylight savings, different timezones, etc, I get very confused about what time it is here/there

What an amazing video introduction. I think more websites should do something like that. I'm really tired of watching video presentations of programmers clicking through a bunch of menus to show me how easy the product it. Excellent approac

Your version of the madlibs form also looks much worse than your usual signup form. I don't know how much that affects user signup percentage, but personally I'd have an easier time trusting your standard form because if it's design, not be

Ok, I didn't know about that. I can understand why they would seem unwanted, even though I don't see a reason to ban them, since I'd think links with shortened URLs would simply not be voted up in the first place...

Why am I being down voted? I'm trying to understand this guy's opinion. I don't understand why he made that comment, so I was wondering if it was a rule on HN or if he simply didn't like URL shorteners in general.

Sorry for being very off-topic, but that three-column layout (or more in higher res?) of the text makes it hard for me to read. Resizing also makes me lose where I was reading. Sorry, again.
