Labels will have a nocebo effect, so that's not unreasonable. They're also guilt inducing.

Biodynamics is complete hogwash. We do need labels for sustainable farming, but we need them to be based on science, not popular beliefs about moon phases and such things.

The double standard you mention is actually created by the Blockchain advocates. Git does not include a distributed consensus algorithm. So it's a chain of blocks, but not a "Blockchain". Blockchain advocates will gladly tell

Bread is the body, the structure. Wine is the blood, the vitality and mortality. So the yeast should be in the wine, not the bread, if you don't want to mix things up. Also, leavened bread does not stay fresh as long.

As a casual smoker of good cigars, I strongly object to the comparison. Just like you can drink wine responsibly, you can smoke responsibly. I don't think you can do heroin responsibly. I'm not ok with being stripped of a wide var

I can understand how it could be considered that in a very non-free society, but no. Freedom exists only as an equilibrium between your freedom and that of others, between paralyzing order and utter chaos.

You're conflating religion with the use of it by some to get, maintain or increase their power. Most religions emphasize humility and have at their best been used to prevent tyranny. Judging is definitely OK, it's actually needed.

In the case of "Macron", forward was clearly "right", as it was mostly about getting rid or reducing social schemes. In France, "neither right nor left" generally means "right".

I would not call Element brilliant. I have had a hard time getting others to adopt it. Fluffychat (Matrix client as well) is more user-friendly.

But we do have to make moral judgments. That's just a consequence of valuing some things over others. And we have to be answerable for our actions. You can make that part of the circumstances if you will, if you really believe that peo

I'm not sure any literature can be compared to the Bible (and Qur'an) in terms of being so carefully put together and preserved, in terms of impact.

It works even for physical pain. The way I see it, wanting the pain (or the anxiety) to go a away creates tension, which adds to the existing issue. You then want the tension and original pain to go away, so add on more tension… and it gets

No explanation of consciousness cuts it if it does not address how first person perspective comes about. No computation results in first person perspective.

With so many unknown species, how do we know that the gene sequences used to detect covid in PCR tests are actually only found in covid ? How do we know the specificity of the test ?

Fluffychat is a Matrix client with a much simpler UI. I've been testing it for a few days. It's still not to the level of Telegram, but it looks promising.
