Could you give a short explanation of the differences to BrowserId? Are the keys tied to origins? If so, how is that enforced? If not, how do you address the privacy issue of origins tracking you through your key?

Re 1: If a.com is hacked, only a.com's OTP seeds are compromised. b.com should (hopefully) use different seeds, so 2FA still prevents someone from logging in.

Thanks, I stand corrected! I was hoping for an actual fluid dynamics person to comment (I'm just a sailor), and your comment above is excellent. Your explanation of the keels lift countering drift, but not heeling, makes perfect sense,

Like an airplane wing, a sail generates most of its lift from deflection of air (air is accelerated towards "aft"), not the Bernoulli effect (pressure difference). http://amasci.com/wing/airfoil.html > As

Short answer: Yes. Concurrency does not necessarily mean parallelism (multi-threading). CSP-derived mechanisms provide abstractions for units-of-work to yield control to other units-of-work. Here, a unit of work is a function invocation, bu

This hits home in so many ways. I'm scandinavian, working in SF. For the first 4 months, I hardly got a single word in in our meetings, and when I did I was immediately talked over. This was really frustrating until I learned it was ju

I agree with others that it doesn't matter in this case. The author used a tool he knows to perform a simple job. At the risk of providing something useful to the discussion though, I'd like to point out the excellent tool jq: ht

No, not at all. I'd be hard pressed to get a hold of one where I lived in Sweden. Yes, I could go to the bank and get $20 or $100. I have a stack of standard sized cards in my pocket.

The stacked bar chart is no better. Yes, it doesn't have the same distortion of making green look smaller towards the right, but it is very hard to see the slow growth. Just use a normal line chart.
