What I'd love (and what has been on my to-do list of things to write) is an app that I can literally text, which takes my notes and collects them somewhere. Would love to get some real searchability, etc while still not needing to laun

Would love to see how this works, or at least hear about how you're able to pull this off! I've been carefully keeping double-entry-accounts of my personal finances in GNUCash, but I don't have anything hooked up to my accoun

(I work at Etched.) You need something as complex as CUDA only to support general-purpose programmability; Sohu is built for one thing and one thing only: transformers. So while we certainly need a software stack to harness the chip, it’s m

That's actually basically what I was doing! Was able to run programs compiled for a "normal" OS on a single unified distributed virtual address space!

Should mention, the coolest part is that I never sent over "all" the memory used by the process, because it was difficult to tell what is needed and what isn't. Instead, I was clever with virtual memory, and when a page of me

For my OS class's final project last quarter, I built a way to live-migrate a process (running on a custom OS we built from scratch) from one Raspberry Pi to another, essentially using checkpoint/restore! Getting the code cleaned

> For what it's worth, RWKV's website on that matter mentions that yes it's bad on recall, but for the vast majority of tasks you can just ask the question before the content, and it'll handle the task just fine.

To be fair, if I wasn't looking for this bug I never would have spotted it. That being said, you're entirely right that any monitoring or even the most basic manual testing should have instantly caught this.
