I wonder what would happen if instead of adding more regulations, they took away some of the power that medical schools have in restricting people from practicing medicine. E.g. nurse practitioners and physician assistants sound like a step

If they always caught people speeding, they could lower the fine so it became more like a tax. The penalties for some crimes could be lowered as well if perpetrators were usually caught.

If someone wants to know a little calculus for a small area of engineering, do they really need to learn various manual techniques for calculating integrals? Why can't they use Mathematica? (What if they're just taking calculus a

LLC's can have more fees, such as in New York. A company rarely needs to worry early on about earning more revenue than it can pay out in salaries, so I'm not sure how often a C-Corp will become a problem.

This looks great but was a little confusing at first. Maybe make it clearer to the user what's going on so they know they're just building their own site. I think it's nice not to have to enter an email at the end, but you&#x

What will you do with everyone else? Sounds like they may cause problems. I think to save Earth we'll need to eliminate those who aren't like minded... "Quick unplug the AI, it's gone bad!"

I'm not sure what role the author is referring to, but I never heard of ordinary job applicants taking 6 months. I applied to Google online for a software engineer position and their recruiter reached out to me the next day. We schedul

Is there any data on the success rate of companies that aim small? A lot of the allure of the startup is a chance to strike it big. If one isn't doing that anyways, might make more sense to join a big company since they offer a conside

One issue I've noticed on occasion is that Ad blockers can silently break websites, and the users don't know what's going on. This is a reason it would be better to reduce ad blocking and encourage websites to follow acceptab

I never had that issue in the US (even when using a two-holed outlet), but I had that problem when I was visiting Israel. So it seems to only be an issue when using 220 volts and not a proper ground connection.

I think the community edition of IntelliJ should usually be enough for a college student programming in Java. Though if they're using other languages or frameworks they'll want the commercial editions.

Dart does this to some extent. You can just declare general values with `var`, a number with `num` and then doubles or ints. https://dartpad.dartlang.org/f7559a6cf27ba0410699fac3d004269... https://www.dartlang.o
