Anything with a condenser microphone and a wired headset would do, just please don't use Bluetooth headsets. The Bluetooth device is in HSP mode for duplex audio with worse bitrate than a landline phone.

I personally find whiteboarding / diagram drawing very irritating, for the same issue as most physics exercise: given a complex problem and you have to discard 95% of the problem to come up with a result that the teacher might thought.

For just to be future-proof, you can install proper K8s on a single node, then scale out. To those who knows K8s inside out, to set up such K8s for a hobby project takes about 5-10 minutes, so not a huge investment of time.
