I really enjoyed going through the quickstart. It doubles as a really great teaching tool for people coming from front-end and design. It made a lot of data modeling concepts stick. There are some bugs here and there, but keep up the good w

Perhaps I'm being a tad too pedantic in this followup, but can you elaborate further? It's difficult for me to square how every style of music is equally sophisticated. I'm taking sophisticated to roughly mean 'complex

I like and use ES6, but I am not a fan of the trend to use as little syntax as possible to be 'beautiful' or 'clean'. Am I the only one who is bothered by this ultra reduction? To me, it ends up as either parentheses so

A lot of LinkedIn hate, but no comment I've read acknowledges that LinkedIn (in some fields, and growing) has replaced the resume. It's almost a universal format — there's a lot of value in that. I can just give someone this

I just heard the author on Philosophy Bites (a podcast). Absolutely marvelous episode, I was genuinely surprised by her findings: http://philosophybites.com/2013/09/alison-gopnik-on-hume-and...

It's simply anti-intellectualism. It's part of the fabric of contemporary American culture that's being exported all over the world. Not sure there's an easy path out from this. Reading, education, book clubs may help. &

These comments are very narrow-minded and hostile. This is wonderful execution. It's really hard to create something that's so easy to use. Its API looks surprisingly elegant. As for the use cases and UX, remember that there'

I've seen some truly amazing things done with passive solar (i.e. building your house to optimally capture sun radiation and store it. The greenhouse effect on steroids.) Some houses in Maine don't have any heating system at all;

Some people are blessed with some kind of inherent sense of meaning. Maybe you are one of them. For others, the absurd dominates if all else is stripped. Myths and spirituality were (and still are) helpful things. Extreme empiricism and k

As a lover of the humanities and social 'sciences', I am always cheered up when a postmodernist snaps out of it, so we can actually have intelligible conversations again. Paraphrasing famous modernist designer Massimo Vignelli, po

I took it for a spin and enjoyed it. It would be even more awesome if there was a deploy to Github pages that was as easy as the AWS deploy.
