I've had hit and miss experiences with Orange Pi specifically. Build quality of their boards is extremely variable, Nano Pi boards cost a bit more but they're much more consistent.

If it does I hope they were considerate enough of our Australian friends to have it detect "sapnu puas" as well.

Either will be fine, I tend to prefer btrfs on laptops (and desktops with consumer storage) for the ease of managing subvolumes/snapshots, the ability to use `cp --reflink=always` to clone big shit (git repos usually) instantly at (alm

Does Qualcomm actually need to whole-ass a solution though? They're making gobs of money on mobile SoCs, any additional market for these chips is just gravy. Microsoft is the party that stands to really gain from a successful x86 alter

The Nano pi line from friendlyarm has been solid for me. They're well built vs the jank that OrangePi tends to ship. Pine64 sells pretty good boards as well, though I'd place them a half step below the quality of friendlyarm.

Not defending big G here in the slightest but you can do that with Gmail aliases too: Someaddr+alias@gmail resolves to Someaddr@gmail.

Do we actually love ice water or is ice water just the default at restaurants? I only put ice in water when the weather is unbearably hot or a specific drink calls for it.

Shattered Pixel Dungeon on Android and iOS is excellent. I guess it's on steam now as of this year if you prefer not to play on a phone. Great game, entirely free and donation supported.

This feels like one of those "well duh" conclusions. If you care about privacy and don't want anyone to know who or where you are you should be piping your traffic through TOR. I still like Session as a private/privacy r

The tl; dr I've been given is that IPFS is essentially one global DHT swarm with some searchable/discoverable magic on top. Not exactly the same as DHT torrenting but close enough fir the simple explanation.

That reminds me of the absolutely insane amount of traffic my mother's Roku TV shits out when it can't resolve/reach its spyware and telemetry services. It's like 95-98% of the blocked traffic on her network. Is there a

You'd still need the coordinator node (tracker) for every single request, so you'd still be serving an absolutely insane amount of traffic off one central box. If you baked something like IPFS or DHT torrent capability into the ap

They're well built, they don't have the bizarro quality issues that every google device seems to, they aren't built in China if that's important to someone, and for the most part all of their software works without much

I started mapping caps to super after a stint daily-driving a chromebook a few years ago and it's stuck with me. I'm surprised none of the major vendors besides big G have thought to repurpose caps for something more useful.

Secondhand Ruckus APs are a pretty decent alternative, you'll have a hard time getting AX gear for a reasonable price though. edit: Secondhand Ruckus/Brocade switches are solid, at least on the 7000 series the evaluation key has n

There aren't very many units out in the wild yet, I just received mine on Friday and I ordered late August. There's some good and bad here, the hardware is surprisingly good for a $250 open source laptop (cost + shipping + taxes)
