Thanks, for the answer. I find the PDF export a valid option too, but did not notice that it actually exports an PDF via the save button. Keep up the great work :-)

I like it, but is there a presentation mode? So far I found fullscreen and zen-mode, but it was still showing the slide overview. It would be awesome if it would be using the JS API for presentations!

Being a big AoE2 fan myself (pre-ordered the original version back in the day), I think you should try it. For me, there is one major downside: The camera. I really don't like the 3D camera. I think it could be worse. So you can actual

This past week, I witness Steam/Proton making it possible to play Age of Empires 4 just 4 days after its official release (and 2 of those days were Saturday and Sunday). That is just awesome.

My understanding was, that the initial argument was about Bash as a programming language and most aspects discussed were aspects were Bash is no different than POSIX: 1. Return values of subshells 2. Clean design 3. being a "real"

Basically, yes. Most arguments expressed here apply to Bash as well as to other POSIX compatible shells. Even the trick from the initial blog post is also works for POSIX shell AFAIK (didn't check). Definitely working is something like

At the time federation was not that special. E-Mail was federated and Jabber/XMPP was federated too. So it was expected, that the successor (as which Wave was marketed) of e-mail was federated too. The real time aspects, on the other h

Wasn't Wave the cloud service that promised to be a federated application, but delivered the open source server very late (like after the failure/shutdown was announced)? Comparing anything that is not federated with Wave sounds o

Well, if it would be just bad, why do we still use it? Why don't we use e.g. Python (which is a much better designed programming language)? Some reasons why POSIX shells are great: - they are part of POSIX (a Standard which is implemen

If you care about performance, you better don't write shell scripts. The typical task of a shell script is to start programs and connect them in a meaningful way. This is in itself a pretty expensive task performance wise. So arguing a

There are three dimensions: 1. UX: most of the time kernel updates don't affect the user experience. However, from time to time there are scheduler updates which can have positive effects. 2. Security: Being able to run the kernel with
