I have no idea about the global situation, but in Germany there was a lot of discussion when they introduced §202c StGb 15 years ago. - https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2007/08/new_german_ha... -

As long as it is a normal laptop and does not support some kind of special tablet mode, I would skip the touchscreen part. My last laptop had a touchscreen (because I thought I would use it), but I never used it in a meaningful way. Instead

I think this is a very good idea, because both topics (random number generators and AI) are hard to fully understand and using both against each other could be used to teach both topics with increasing difficulty.

Congrats for reaching this state. I really like the clean and simple interface. What I am missing are a few more sentences about hosting. I saw the documentation about the variables and the commands to host a dev environment, but which comm

I like Excalidraw too, but in my opinion OurBoard has a different focus. - Excalidraw is superb if you want to draw something freestyle. - Ourboard seems to focus more on creating boxes (notes) which you can group and connect. If I understa

Does someone know why Arch Linux doesn't come with the binder and ashmem modules enabled by default? Both are required to run Anbox and Waydroid so you have to switch to another kernel or build one yourself.

Arch Linux with Firefox 92.0 and uBlock activated works sometimes. However, it seems somewhat brittle and sometimes the initial loading doesn't complete. I am not 100% certain, but it seems to help to switch to another tab while the pa

Another Option to play games on Linux is Geforce Now. I try to avoid Nvidia products, but with this service you can play some games 'on' Linux which are not supported natively or via Proton/Wine.

So far, there isn't even a service. It is only software, which you can use to self-host your pictures, which can serve the same purpose. Both are certainly GP alternatives. Equal: no. Comparable: sure.

From what I have seen, I like Photoprism [1] better. Yes, they are a different kind of product, but feature wise they should be considered a competitor. Yes, ente.io is easier to setup, but there are many things lacking or unpolished (e.g.
