Like most of us I haven't actually read Capital in the 21st Century, but isn't his whole point that the capital gains of the ultra rich outstrip the income of any worker? Anecdotally I hear anger towards hedge fund managers and in

Dumb question: why use power of two sized rings? If I know the reader won't be more than 100 behind the writer, isn't it better to waste one element of a 101 sized rings instead of 28 of a 128 sized ring?

Honestly I find his "well done" picture better representative of the sameness I see in new seattle buildings. All the new upscale apartments and condos have the same trendy contrasting blocks of colors and materials. The angles ma

Although many spices have antimicrobial properties, the idea they were used as a preservative is a myth. Just look at leftovers: My extra spicy kung pao goes bad just as fast as my roomate's sweet and sour. Salt, acidity, and fermentat

I'd argue mass shootings themselves are a red herring when considering gun deaths. While horrific, the vast majority of gun homicide deaths are handgun crimes that make the local frontpage at best. The Cure Violence program has demonst
