I interviewed with one of the flutter engineers. After a casual talk with him on how they were doing the rendering, while interesting, I had a feeling that fluter will fail. It reminded me a bit of all the HTML 5.0 on mobile efforts back

The sad point is that in the current state, you get two leetcode style questions for round interview, and that's it. Good luck with that; There is 0 interest in companies to improve the quality of the interview process. 0. They'd

Swift has turned into a hot garbage of a language, that is starting making Enterprise Java from 2001 look good. The sheer complexity (especially with v5.5) of it has just become unmanageable and just looking something more like a mashup of

These off the cuff remark are the typical 'armchair commentary' we get in HN and somehow they get a lot of votes, but they are really low grade 'feel good' efforts. While FB/Meta is in a vulnerable position, they st

Albania doesn’t have either. Scams or thefts are rare. It is a very tourist friendly country as it gets almost 2.5x tourists a year compared to its population. People are very welcoming.

Move to NYC or a different large city. (I am assuming you perhaps live in the Bay Area). SF is intersting, but the rest of the Bay Area is a giant suburb. It is nice to live as a family (but expensive), but it is not the right place for
