Quick question: this refers heavily to Flexbox, which as someone who has only a tangental interest in CSS, I don't know much about. Is it the standard way of doing positioning now? Care to explain it like I'm 5?

This is a great point. Tesla is, to me, fundamentally a battery company.

Excellent podcast so far. If you're just getting started, here are the ones I'd recommend checking out first: 1) Instagram - probably of the most interest to this community 2) Clif Bar - this one is really interesting to understan

This is a really great point that I wrestled with. I think you have to remind yourself that sometimes, everyone gets so busy and caught up doing the work that they forget these other parts. Would it have been better to do this proactively?

This couldn't have come at a better time, as I just navigated this last week. I kind of disagree with most of what the author is saying. Here's why. The author posits that you've begun looking for a new job for a reason. Ther

Love this tutorial. Michael is one of the best teachers I've encountered. It's such a great tutorial that I hesitate to ask, but I'm not the biggest fan of the Cloud9 IDE stuff that was added in the later versions, though. An

This is just the cost of progress. If every imperfect piece of technology didn't ship, we'd have no technology at all.

That's really an incredible story, and I doubt that it exists in a vacuum. I'd really like to see a piece about companies like yours and others that were impacted heavily by algorithm changes. The part that probably bothers me the

It's no wonder that Apple is becoming increasingly pushy about updates on iOS. I've noticed in the last few months that the new pop-up options are to either "remind me later" (and it absolutely will) or "update now.

I agree with you. I'm troubled though by this new era of customer service where the focus is on having a team of people who monitor social media for the loudest complaints and devote resources to solving those out of fear of bad PR.
