The Dall-e API sucks so much right now, I’ve been experimenting with it the past few days and it produces a lot of horrors. I even used the Dall-e prompt book as a guide but still so many more misses than hits. Even when it gives a non horr

Thats like asking why must a movie director give actors direction, they should just be able to read the script and act! You need to give the LLM some direction before asking questions sometimes because it will make random assumptions on its

It’s the work of Google’s PR team, there’s no competition if everyone thinks making a browser is impossible, so don’t even try, ~wink wink I’m only half joking but I’m pretty sure there are some PR companies pushing “trends” on the behalf o

The definition of simulation is: imitation of a situation or process. "simulation of blood flowing through arteries and veins" I love the game of life but I don't really consider it a simulation, it's a toy that with the

I wouldn't call that a simulation though, it's just a looping process with rules. A simulation implies imitation, so if it's not imitating anything is it a simulation?

If it is a simulation, what is it simulating? There would have to be a "real" reference to compare against?

All I want is to be able to sandbox Windows from all of Microsoft's crap. I don't leave my computers awake while windows is running anymore because the moment it detects inactivity it starts loading up a bunch of unsolicited proce

CBD is not equal to THC, its not psychoactive at all. So no it is not “just try weed bro” and the fact you are so confident about something you know nothing about is quite shocking to be honest. Also opiates are over prescribed for many thi

If you get a CS degree and end up doing UIs/forms in React then something along the way went very very wrong.

I have no issues with frameworks and libs but the fact I know I’m on site built with react because everything gets laggy and my laptops fans start spinning is not a great selling point.

That’s strange, I thought the point of React was to make websites slow and laggy so you can save on server costs by just serving json after the initial payload.
