But what I'm after is recursion. Rather than make 20 individual frameset pages each with different target="name"s, it would be way cooler simply to populate each frame area with itself. Pedantic props for the doctype tip. ED

You, sir or ma'am, are a gentleman and a scholar. I literally just created this account to thank you. PS if you know how to make a link target a frame in a nested frameset, please let me know. It must go deeper.
