What a shame. EEVblog and AVE have been some of my favorite engineering channels on YouTube for some time now, hopefully Louis Rossman isn't next.

Maybe this is what the future of "treasure hunting" looks like? Myself and a friend ran a wallet recovery service a while back, brings back memories haha. Very cool work, even as someone who works in the blockchain space.

This project is cool, but I'm more interested in future releases by the Askasha project.

I wonder if they could look into using some of the DNS features currently being built by BlockStack?

Sounds like the "rules" will just be content creators that fit the political motives of YouTube? I consider myself progressive, but I think it's still odd that channels that offer different views or question progressive view

Maybe an unlikely choice, but I actually think Boston, especially chinatown in Boston is incredibly cyberpunk. Yes, I might be biased since I went to school in Boston and a huge fan of the Fallout series. If I had to give a structure &#x2F

Yeah, this is incredibly common, even in Mountain View. Not just true in luxury rentals with low occupancy, but also in house shares. However, I still don't quite understand restricted kitchen access and shared living rooms.

Fake News is an awfully vague term for censorship.

Wow, well I was on the fence when it came to leaving California. Now I'm absolutely certain I'll be leaving. You guys enjoy playing "pin the smugness on the echo-chamber".

Talked to some of the Lbry team members at Coindesk Construct in SF a few months back. You guys are awesome, keep up the good work!

Just waiting for some scumbag to repost as fake news... "Vault 7 leaks find NSA spying on vibrator use!"

I cannot agree more with your sentiment. As a millennial, I can't wait for the surge in lung and oral cancer in about 20 yrs, when the cannabis industry unsurprisingly starts dodging the "real" health negatives of smoking ca

However, an OCL-HashCat benchmark is something I'm definitely looking forward to.

Wow, that price point is far better than what I was expecting. Still expensive, but it's below $800.

Seems like this wouldn't really be useful to scrape js rendered content or any content of "real" value that had any kind of rate limiting or monitoring enabled. Spreading the ip space and making scraping look like genuine us

I know Amazon AWS has most of their core engineering talent in Austin. The scene is small but strong, this doesn't really reflect on the hiring climate in ATX. As a true Austinite, I never really considered San Antonio a "tech hu

So cool to see the "expanded copper" heat spreaders on these servers. In many cases those heat spreaders are fused to the CPU with indium solder. Cool stuff.

I absolutely adore my ThinkPad X201, if there was any way to purchase a pristine new-in-box X201 I would. However, I recently picked up a 3rd gen x1 carbon and absolutely love it compared to my rMBP '15. Sure, it's not quite as

Is the German government planning on supplying a regime of government funded (inherently biased) fact-checkers to gauge "fake news" in their country? Otherwise, this plan seems foolishly reactionary.

This reminds me of the computer engineering coursework I completed before switching to CS during my time at university. Interesting stuff sure, but a great way to overwhelm a beginner.

I understand why the Ruby community has warmed up to Elixir and the Phoenix web-framework, however, I'm curious what the advantage or use-case of having Ruby talk to Elixir in an application is?
