I love this concept! However, when it comes to conventional theaters fetching the most revenue possible, it seems like the problem is what to play in a limited number of theaters, not becessarily as many people as possible. I could see peo

Haha, I'll be waiting to purchase until Linux reviews surface or MicroCenter offers the same discount on TR and i9 chips.

I love the C.H.I.P board, seems like they'd have better market penetration if their name wasn't "CHIP" though. I feel like the Particle IOT line has suffered a similarly hindrence?

Why not build a small super-capacitor or lithium ion bank that you'd charge at work? Also, unless you have perfect weather (I.e. the Bay Area) and require no energy for HVAC this system is almost useless.

After working in the space for about a year, after being a developer and enthusiast surrounding crypto since the early days of BTC this "bickering among core devs" is nothing new. Any press or "talks" that say otherwise

Usually, companies conducting ICO's only release the block number in advance, the smart contract address is generally released last sometimes just hours before the ICO start time.

Yep, there's more than enough liquidity. People clearing more than $70k USD worth of ETH are usually going through OTC channels, not through exchanges like Poloniex and Coinbase. OTC fees are generally higher than exchanges, but offe

This was bound to happen at some point... It'll be interesting to see how low the dip goes as a result of this ICO failure.

Currently on mobile, but the hardware blog Hardware Cannucks has a fantastic post covering how "true" ECC support / functionality is on Ryzen. They also investigate this on both Windows and Linux.

Interesting, could you possibly explain how "halt behavior" indicates that ECC is fully functioning? I've just read a lot about ECC being compatible but not tests explicitly showing it works.

I generally have workflows that heavily utilize docker, i.e. use at least 2GB, docker compose on my MBP can take up to 6-8 minutes. For me it's still unclear how much of a real advantage IPC provides for common tasks or non-parallel pr

My only qualm is that purchasing an i7 7700 system in comparison to a Ryzen 1700 system is almost the same price (since I'm buying my CPU from MircoCenter). The use of my desktop is maybe 5% gaming, the rest is software dev and browsin

I'm still waiting for a more diverse set of synthetic and real-world benchmarks. It'll be interesting to see how IPC performance holds up with Threadripper, however I think the most interesting debate will be whether the 1920x or
