Plus you don’t have to delete it when you’re done, like you do with prints or breakpoints.

I’ve had that product manager before. The real Shittiest PM isn’t the one who’s absent, it’s the one who does too much but not well. Constantly shifting priorities, unclear, yet rigid guidance, and unrealistic targets.

Yes. A lot of it has been burned (sent to nonfunctional addresses), for example.

You're ignoring distributed exchanges like Uniswap. They only deal in crypto-crypto because they exist only on the blockchain.

There’s also seemingly unlimited content of real people produced consensually by those people. What can DALL-E generate that you can’t find on pornhub or onlyfans??

I wonder why not. It seems like that's the cause of most of these.

I wouldn't say that YAGNI is the counter-slogan. Rather, it's the overarching principle. It's not going to change. You aren't going to need to code for that contingency.

I'm sure this is true, but it's still not a good reason to put out bogus statistics. There are other ways to argue this point without hurting your credibility by lying about it.

You typically need ~3 months of rent on hand to get a new apartment. That can be a really large amount of money for people on assistance

Why are you convinced you weren't legitimately downvoted? It's an old conspiracy that you're pushing and it doesn't have a lot of traction.

Build on the easiest thing possible (probably Heroku or a competitor). If you have to worry scale and how you'll pay for it then, well that's a good problem to have. Most projects won't get to that point.

That's why the lack of a union is more of a problem in fields where workers are commoditized. The trick though is to unionize before you're a commodity, when you still have leverage.

I'm a big fan of Numba in Python, where you can add JIT compilation only to the methods you want.

In New York at least, drivers are almost never prosecuted for hitting cyclists or pedestrians, even if the driver is at fault.

I agree of course, but I'm not sure what your point is, other than to be a little bit distracting. It seems pretty reasonable for a government to subsidize modest multi-family homes without subsidizing mansions.

Is anyone in this thread proposing this kind of system? This is kind of an insane strawman. You can have a regulated market that still has prices. OP only proposed incentives to build and disincentives to hoard. Homes would still have price

Eh I see your point but I disagree. Look for housing in a highly competitive city, and soon enough you stop caring about geographical specifics and instead look for some combination of useful attributes. In practice, that's fungibility

Rather than commenting it out, I suggest adding a --live-run flag to scripts and checking the output of --live-run=false (or omitted) before you run it "live."
