Dramatic valuation drop at Apple? How much research goes into an article that leads with that.

Wouldn’t it add weight though? It seems like if the car is parked next to a solar panel and drives away without it then it’s a lot more efficient.

Which is a fine point to make! but to reference zero published studies talking about lives saves from Nature etc is a clear bias.

This is a really biased article pushing a particular viewpoint. If it wasn't, you would also include the studies the demonstrate the number of lives saved by lockdowns that happened, the impact of different levels and types of lockdown

At least in some countries, the government makes a yearly budget and decides what to fund, including specific projects.

Try Starcraft 2. Games are under 20 minutes and you need to fully commit aggressively to win a lot. Constant attack / harassment / probing or risky expansions(or both). As well, you can watch the replay to see all the times attack

How exactly are you building watchOS app? Plenty of serious development uses SwiftUI and storyboards.

I have a Volvo and I can confirm this exact experience. After an 8 hour drive I feel totally fine. I’ll add it makes the drive much safer, on occasion it’s slammed the brakes before I can react. Both of us together is much better than just

That’s with the current usage though right, not if we used a lot more public transportation and changed the type of it (bud -> train)

> What do these disturbed young men, who would murder children if given the opportunity, do? Have you looked at every other country for evidence of what they might do? I feel there is a lot of evidence there to answer your question.

This is what I was expecting. I think for Vapor for example it's incredible because you are always in async land. For client code, because you are returning to the main thread quite a lot - I'm not seeing so many benefits.

What kind of work are you doing with async/await that is so improved? Very interested in what kind of code on the client that is.

It’s pretty convenient using myGov to do taxes and Medicare. The identity part is honestly the least usable bit. I’d be a fan since we already have tax file numbers that pretty much function as this.

I didn’t make a distinction between those. But there is a big difference between starting and interceding in any of those. American didn’t “start” ww2 for example, but did “start” the war in Iraq.

You only have to go back to Obama to find a president that didn’t “start a war”. As Obama only interceded in Libya and other ongoing conflicts.

> UK data shows vaccinated people are drastically more likely to get it and spread it than the unvaccinated. This is not true. Vaccinated people are less likely to get and spread Covid. I’d link you to the CDC but it’s probably redundant

We are talking about different things. 1. The probability of a BI is not the same as the relative probability of a vaccinated person infecting another person. I also refer to “vaccinated people“ to mean “a population of vaccinated people”,

You’re really uninformed about vaccines. Saying because vaccinated people can spread it despite being over 10x less likely to, is black and white fallacy FUD. I can see you are very hyperbolic your statement: “Yes it kills people and can sp
