I don't know, I see disliking my old work as a good sign of engineering growth, and hating old decisions as personal / professional work...

I'm really interested if anyone has advice on the best cross platform 2d focused game engine?

This. As there original post says, there isn't enough research on this which is exactly why for now you should follow the advice of your GP / specialists.

What on earth, that is published by Yahoo!? Putting aside separation of concerns, what about the lack of DRY and maintainability of that.

The quality varies a lot with these logos like anything, particularly when scaled down to tiny sizes, but some are really nice. The paperclip one would be great for company that gets you paperclips, _fast_.

This is about as serious an anti-pattern as I've seen in css.

Careful, I Googled your name and a couple keywords and figured out which company and location in about 12 seconds. Potentially someone reading this could make work less enjoyable than it is now. Hope things improve mate.

Agree, I'm visiting from Australia and its maybe 10% to 30% more expensive, and alcohol is cheaper. Nothing like what we paid for stuff in new york.

You miss my point, I am saying their current trajectory is to become more and more successful. They do not want to 'turn around' at all.

I used to have a similar opinion until I read this thing from Banksy on our choice to consume media like the Kardashians: http://adsoftheworld.com/blog/letter_from_banksy_on_advertis...

I often get frustrated with people who hate the food pyramid. A modern diet now lets people be the biggest, fastest and strongest they have ever been. The only difference is now we have the flexibility to be informed and eat the healthy or

I actually am just not _that_ interesting and i can't see what anyone could want to really know about me...? I mean I'd care if it turned out my credit details were being uploaded and I'm not trying to be funny, but realistic

Yeah I am saying for short stuff they can just sit in that, any distance of length with have another compartment behind that one for travel.

There would be a life support module behind this though right? They don't sit in the take off / landing part on a trip to the moon.

I lost 2 grand this way when I was 17. I chalked it up to an (at the time) expensive life lesson. In retrospect it was cheap. I wonder how many other people learn the verbal contract lesson the hard way, probably way more than admit it.

I like to talk about the problem with other engineers. It sometimes feels like you learn everything the hard way but it usually turns out that's how it is for everyone.

I work at a big corporation, and the stuff he said is literally against the rules. The intro, the gift, how could you give someone of a different culture and from a different area a fair chance if people are getting bonuses for that?
