Interesting. I'll have to take a look. I got the schedule data from retrosheet.org, so it's possible that is inaccurate. The other bug is related to the fact that today's game data isn't in the feed yet. I have to be smarter about what I sh

Hmm. Interesting. This gets a little tricky, because in a few hours, I'll start getting "in progress" and "pre-game" in the feeds, which means you'll end up seeing "They play the Padres today." Therefore, I don't currently use today's game,

The data is coming directly from mlb.com, who provides a json feed for non-commercial use. I hope this continues to qualify, since I'm not running ads. :)

Did you miss having the details? I almost didn't include them because I want to keep it as dirt simple as possible.

Thanks! 1) Are there more details that I should add? I'm hesitant to add more noise to the page, which is why I leave it hidden, but if enough people want it by default, I'll definitely change it. 2) I am storing the scores for each game I'

I see you do settings through a cookie or URL params. I'm out of ideas unless you hash the cookie + ip for a session ID fir that purpose.

Are there session ids? I assume that HMAC(secret + sessionID + ip + search terms) would be fine.

all the other person has to do then is perform a search to see the secret terms. granted, it's better than it showing up in plain text in the referrer, but you could easily write a script to scrape the actual terms...

Is this similar to what AppJet originally attempted to do? If so, have you attempted to contact them to see what types of problems they encountered before focusing on EtherPad?

Actually, he clarifies in the comments that he really does mean a "client" and not Status.net (what Laconica is called these days). But, there are definitely quite a few out there. Gwibber, Spaz, Canary, etc, etc.

Does it matter how menial the patent claims are? If Apple is indeed infringing, then HTC has the choice to offer a license at whatever cost they want, do they not? HTC is in the same boat. If HTC is found to have violated any of Apple's pat
