I was just telling my wife the other day about how much I'd hoped that text went away in favor of better communication mediums. I feel shy to admit it, especially here, but I dislike text. I dislike it because it's unnatural. I

I've been a loyal subscriber for years, also. But, I'd say that for every one or two great issues, there's one that I just can't get through. It must be whomever is editing that month.

A few thoughts about the current de facto authentication 'standard': 1. The majority of my accounts are tied to my email account. Now, I can't easily change email providers; I'm locked in, for the most part. 2. Email is

From his birth, I tried very hard to let my son criticize and challenge me and also other adults. I tried to teach him to negotiate for what he wants and that things should be quid pro quo. This has greatly frustrated many adults (and me

I wouldn't say it's the hardest, but it's definitely the first hard step. I learned to ollie in the summer of 1987. It had taken me and my brother about 6 months to figure it out. The hardest part was training our brains to

While it's good to understand the market prices for your skills, negotiation is a lot about understanding the other party's goals and needs and best-guessing their maximum price. They will have a maximum price in their head. So,
