As someone developing with both Nuxt and Next, I find these "full-stack" JavaScript libraries and frameworks really confusing and difficult to grok. I understand the benefit of only having one ecosystem to worry about (JS/TS

What is causing it to be overwhelming? I use a zero-inbox policy. If it can be answered in 2 minutes I do it then. Otherwise I create a TODO an archive the email. All newsletters go to a particular label and skip the inbox.

I am dying to ditch Adobe and Lightroom (both Classic or CC) but none of the alternatives (Photomator included) seem to have the same quality of library management features as Lightroom (metadata editing, rating, keywords, face recognition

Django + Celery, Next.js, Vercel and Digital Ocean app platform. I’m happy to pay to offload as much devops as possible to focus on features. Likewise when choosing a framework: convention over configuration where possible.

I use Next.js with Django regularly. Just set up Django as a REST API only. Have Next.js talk to the API either at build-time or run-time, whichever suits your use-case. You could even proxy calls to your backend server via Next.js server-s

It sounds more like you don't like people liking sports, rather than you disliking it yourself. People like different things. If you can't see why people like sports, you should spend more time figuring that out rather than dismis

This is great. I'm a regular Balsamiq user but prefer the look-and-feel and subtle aesthetic differences in Konty. I'd love some sort of commenting or call-out system on drawings. The "stickies" work well in some cases,

Those images of the residential areas at night are crazy. Not only are there no cars or people, but it looks like every visible unit is empty of any furniture or fittings. Literally no signs of life.
