I’m just today after having my first real success with Claude (and generally with coding agents). I’ve played with Cursor in the past but am now trying Claude and others. As mentioned in the article, the big trick is having clear specs. In

I was recently in Mexico and 3 different places asked us directly for positive reviews in exchange for free food/drinks. This made me reconsider how I use Google Maps for finding places to eat and stay. You basically have to rely on th

This is an issue when using VPNs. I always just go to the audio alternative which is much quicker to “solve” (you hear a word played back and type it out)

I don’t think we disagree. It’s the broader point of phones now doing the editing for you. If you enjoy photography then this is “worse” as you would prefer to do that yourself in Lightroom. If you don’t enjoy photography this is “better” a

I also think there’s something special about looking through a viewfinder. Even in new cameras (where the viewfinder itself is a tiny screen) something happens when you frame a photo this way, that doesn’t happen when you use the back displ

I have a Ricoh GIII which is astonishing for its size. That said, it’s expensive so probably not an entry level pocket camera.

Not really. Look at the sky, it's very different between the two. This is something I've noticed constantly with iPhones in particular. To the point where I don't bother trying to take photos that focus on the sky or sunset a

I think these are good points. It boils down to: are you interested in photography or do you just want to have photographs? If it's the former, get a camera. If it's the latter, stick with the phone.

These are some good examples. I'd love more on this. I returned to amateur photography a few years ago (Fuji XT-4). I previously used a DSLR when I was younger (10+ years ago) but my camera was stolen at some point so I was left with j

What do you mean it's not flexible? I've always thought of the EU as being way ahead of the US in banking terms, with lots of digital banks offering instant payments and all EU banks offering SEPA instant transfers. I'm inter

I'm probably not your ideal customer, so take this with a pinch of salt, but I think you're shooting yourself in the foot by segmenting your pricing by "number of landing pages". I would instead price by features. For ex

I agree with your points. I think the main issue is that most developers don’t consider UI. They consider app functionality and features, or look-and-feel and design, but they ignore UI (or don’t know what good UI is). Like you described, e

This is a good read for fans of the the show. I don’t think the central premise of redefined evil holds up, but it’s a fun read and the analysis of their characters is spot on.

The world is a very very different place technologically then when you grew up. Again I don’t have kids, so I’m not in a position to judge, but I can only imagine the pressures on children are completely different nowadays. For example, we

Do you have kids? I don’t, so I don’t have any idea how realistic this is. How do you ensure your kids aren’t skirting any blocks you put in place, looking things up with their friends, getting access to a VPN, etc.? I also don’t think this

I don’t agree with the legislation, but I assume the same way they can go after you for any crime they perceive as being committed in the UK: extradition. It’s obviously incredibly unlikely.

You don’t need to remember everything, that’s exactly why the information is in a book in the first place. Just keep a physical or digital library and you’ll have everything you need.
