~20% of my shop's jobs came from LinkedIn 2018. All those jobs landed by me surfing on the couch watching Netflix (senior dev in Sweden). But I use it as hunting grounds. Can't stand how people portray themselves on LinkedIn - so

From the frontend, you should try to master Chrome DevTools (or other tools if for some reason Chrome isn't ok with you). There's pretty much everything you need in there: - Emulate devices for design and testing - Track network t

Hi, it looks sweet and easy to read, but what are actual use cases? For example, how would this pair with a React app? Is this supposed to be used as a a stand alone lib? I have not really grasped why state machines are a big deal. (If it i

I support online groups, however I'd prefer staying anonymous which simply isn't possible without faking your account on FB. Reddit provides similar functionality and let's you stay anon. There's subreddits for pretty mu

You cut out the context. It wasn't "do bullshit", but "Do bullshit padding around your entire story." That is pretty much every company out there. Company leaders revise their history to make them more attractive, c

I make decent pay each month, and when the money shows up on my account, I go "sweet" for 1 second then get back to normal. I once withdrew my whole salary in cash, and wow, the relationship to money is quite different. I didn

That they don't share shadow data on request is already breaking the GDPR. Even if they would get some lawyerish twist on it, sometimes grey scales isn't needed. Just give me my effing data - if you have it you have it. It's

They're often filled with dark patterns too. I have to dig about seven pages in to turn of tracking to third parties in some of these popups. Might be a difference with me being a European visitor though?

Whistleblowing would be a good middle-ground here. Also, I don't think sabotage would be as efficient since FB would just restore everything in an instant. The problem with whistleblowing is that the consequences need to be more direct

This is a bit out of touch with reality. People generally care a lot of what others think of them. Personally I can't even grasp as how one can think that 99.99% of people doesn't matter. They most certainly do to me. Why would I
