Use what the masses are using, anonymity is being in a large enough group and not distinguished enough from the rest. Telegram, cleartext SMS, email. Normal people do not send anonymous or secure messages, but if you need and want to, then

LOL, its not better than WhatsApp, that is my point. In fact, its worse than cleartext SMS, when you use Signal you are a target, when you use cleartext SMS, you can still hide among the noise.

Indeed, another cost-increase on NSA and other evil enterprises invoice, is to misinform/disinform, let them monitor what is useless, waste resources finding the needle in the haystack. Basically we are in Intelligence vs Counter Intel

Not only tag, but also get their identity and possibly use backdoors, because Signal is only on Google Play, which in order to access it requires a gazillion identifying data. Signal is a joke if your adversary is NSA and its likes. You can

Does Russia make backdoored hardware and software? Do you have proof of that? But we do have proof USA does that. See Snowden leaks.

Use alpine linux on your servers, it uses grsec by default, and if you can bear it - even on desktop with xfce4. ArchLinux has linux-grsec as a package, its enough to pacman -S linux-grsec linux-grsec-headers and boot into it.

I urge everyone to use linux-grsec, and avoid the security hole that vanilla kernel is. This stuff has been there in grsecurity patchsets for more than 10 (ten) years already.

I didnt mean the messages are available to decrypt, that messages would hit GCM or that encryption methods are flawed or anything like that. More like, Google has root on your phone so it can steal your private keys any time.

Thank you. There is 3 issues which Im trying to clear up here. With GCM and Signal: 1, Google and in turn USA based data-centers receive events/more-data to analyze. That this data is not the encrypted message, not the decrypted messag

There is a coherent argument which you just refuse to see. Signal was marketed as anti mass surveillance secure messaging system. It is but a mere user friendly email+gpg alternative. It actively avoid anti-mass surveillance methods and doe
