It sounds like you are lacking inspiration. AI is a tool for making your ideas happen not giving you ideas.

Shouldn't these platforms work on getting Rust to support it rather than have our tools limited by what they can consume? https://github.com/Rust-GCC/gccrs

Yeah it's always handy to be able to work effectively with just terminal tools. However, VScode and Zed (my editor of choice) both have pretty decent inbuilt SSH/SFTP implementations so you can treat remote code as if it was local

Why would I use Claude on web to do that? Why would I use the wrong tool for the job?

I wonder how many other packages are going to be compromised due to this also. Like a network effect.

Ah so the coding was done locally but run remotely? I nearly went insane when I was forced to code using Citrix.

I’ve literally asked Claude Code to look at and fix an issue on a cluster and it knows to use the cli utils.

Perhaps a better implementation of the law would be requiring all sites to mark content as NSFW if it is, and having opt-in device level toggles, so parents could protect their kids more easily, but anyone who’s actively seeking the content

No it is the developer's job to make things be nice and work well. We've gone past pretending to be native shit for pretty much everything. We define our own design styles and language since the web took off.

How would this work given that the major DE's have completely different UX and design?

You can craft a nice CLAUDE.md saying write code like this bit, avoid writing code like this legacy bit etc.

Yeah but depending on how you set it up, you could have a very short expiry. If your auth system is as simple as: Verify refresh token -> Check a fast datastore to see if revoked -> Generate new auth token, this is very easy to scale

This is why you have refresh tokens - your actual token expires regularly, but the client has a token that allows you to get a new one. Revoking is a case of not allowing them to get a new one.
