I have a hybrid experience where I really need swipe to get things done fast, but I always disable autocorrect, because when I actually type I don't like to be corrected. This way I can put the anger on me rather than the software.

That is not a middle ground. That is an extreme position. Using a roughly tested vaccination which does not even stop the spread of the virus (from vaccinated people that is) widespread, sounds not like a good proposition. Also lethality of

Effectiveness of masks should be so easy to proof, but just isn't. It should be obvious to anyone when you're so desperate. Btw Swedes live mostly in the south and in big cities (100k+). You didn't even check that.

My thought pattern is deranged, because I compare countries with similar state of health care. One where masks are mandatory and one where it isn't. Well, Sweden also has no lockdown, but it pretty much does not matter since the death

To be fair, the last wave suggests that wearing masks has no effect in this pandemic[0][1]. Comparing Sweden and Germany (which have at least similar health systems and count similarly) the mortality rate of SARS-CoV-2 is about the same, wh

I can also fill out the blanks without violating HN policy. Nobody wants political controversity on their site because it attracts a lot of related problems. It is obiviously part of the spiral of silence and therefore I don't like it

That indeed makes sense, but sometimes one hand doesn't know what the other does. Also not all decisions are rational (actually it's the other way around). A better example for this is the FBI tho, since they really hate any secur

It's a bit annoying that you can't make F-Droid auto-update to latest when the "suggested" is not the latest. The version is also split on GitHub[1] and I can only guess why. [1]: https://github.com/k9mai

You can provide no evidence. The source provides no evidence, because it bases its article solely on Navalny('s allies). Navalny is Putin's political opponent and has therefore obvious vested interests and provides also no real ev

When you investigate the case it turns the other way around. Bill Browder is a corrupt and Magnitsky was rightly in prison. The Russian prison conditions are bad, however I don't see the sanctions targetting the prison system in Russia

Whataboutism. If you have any proof that the accusations of Navalny are true, then come forward with it. Otherwise I just use Hitchen's Razor.

Here in Germany every internet capable device is considered for the license, so your system would fail there as well (being unfairer). It would obviously fairer if they made a paywall, but also defeat the purpose (they don't fulfill an
